Farewell 007 :(

Last night, well technically this morning, we joined the Thursday Party gang to farewell 007 (so named because of his military service in the special attack unit), who is moving to the new Daegu store. Im particularly sad because Ive been nursing a slight crush for him and now all of my chances at having beautiful Korean babies with him are dashed :P
Anyway, at 6am we were eating Samgypsal (pork cooked at the tabel - delicious!) and matching shot for shot of soju with a large group of hardened Korean soju drinkers.... recipe for disaster :P It was a great night/morning and we werent ready for the night to end so we moved it to my apartment which was only a street away. The only problem being that my apartment is crowded with just me in it and we piled over 10 of us in there for some more drinking fun.

This picture doesnt even begin to capture the chaos. At least 2 of the boys were having deep and meaningfuls in the bathroom and glasses were being broken and play fighting amongst the boys breaking out every 5 minutes :)

BTW- notice Rego smiling happily on the bed.... pretty soon after we had to coax him from his position - passed out on the bathroom floor- and into bed, where he and Joy promptly made themselves comfortable. Theyre not lovers, just good friends- really ;)
In true Korean style, despite having just eaten a mountain of samgypsal, Ramyeon and mandu and a few other bits and pieces were being cooked up by one of the girls. Koreans always eat when they are drinking- maybe thats part of the reason they seem to recover so much better than us from a night of soju :/
Anyhow, the Daegu Thursday Party opens on April 9th so Anne and I are heading up there to help celebrate- Ill let you know how that goes :)
