H1N1- The Facts (According to Korea)
1. It is carried and spread by foreigners in Korea (as such the English teachers should not consort with other foreigners out of school)
2. You MUST wash your hands regularly and thoroughly but sneezing, spitting and coughing in public without covering your mouth is OK.
3. You should wear a face mask to minimise risk- but you only need to have it covering your mouth- leave the nose to roam free !
4. ANy kind of face mask is fine- never mind what the medical professionals say- If it's pretty or sporting some K-Pop star it will definitely keep the swine flu out!
5. When distributing the face masks, don't waste one on the foreign teacher as we all know they are the spreaders of all hideous diseases anyway.
6. You should test all students and (foreign) teachers on the first day of semester using the same thermometer (a quick wipe with a tissue is sufficent to disinfect the thermometer from previous use)
